Ultimate Guide To Co-Parenting

Ultimate Guide To A Happy Divorce

Our Mission

Our mission is to help co-parents create a healthy, thriving future for their families. We empower and support parents with all the tools, knowledge, and skills to avoid unnecessary emotional damage to themselves and their children.

We support co-parents in any situation – whether it is a high-conflict separation, an amicable divorce where both parents are working closely together on the children’s behalf, or cases of divorce in which one spouse is inflicting emotional abuse.

Our vast range of services allows us to tailor solutions that will meet you exactly where you are. From 1:1 or 1:2 sessions with both co-parents to a diverse range of short online courses and our comprehensive Co-Parenting Academy, we have resources to fit every situation and every budget.

Our focus is on personalizing advice, support, and guidance to your specific requirements as a unique individual and family. This is all while taking your personal needs (and those of any children) into account.

Backed by 30 Years of Experience

Two Healthy Homes is the life’s work of Dr. Erica Ellis. Dr. Ellis is a licensed child psychologist and co-parenting expert that parents have turned to for over 30 years when seeking couples counseling, individual counseling, and help with parental relationships. Over the past three decades, Dr. Ellis has helped thousands of families navigate the separation or divorce and co-parenting process in a way that protects the long-term well-being of the entire family.

Helping Families Going Through Divorce

We’re here to support the emotional health of anyone going through separation or divorce. This includes the well-being of parents as well as children.

Supporting You in Co-Parenting

Should you decide to co-parent following a divorce or separation, we’re here to help. We offer a wide range of co-parenting services and information resources to help guide you through this challenging and life-altering journey. Our co-parenting services are tailored for your child’s well-being – with emotional safety and mental health being the top priorities for everyone involved.

For high-conflict relationships, this may mean devising a parallel parenting plan where your child can still enjoy a relationship with both parents but wherein interactions between the parents themselves are limited.

All of our co-parenting resources are available with a lifetime promise, which means you’ll always have ongoing access and support.

Offering Guidance Through Our Divorce Counseling Services

Our services don’t just begin after the decision to divorce has been made. We’re here to provide both pre-and post-divorce coaching to help you gain access to all the information you need to make the best decision for your family. We can help counsel you through a divorce, after a divorce, or provide expert insight into how a divorce may be avoided.

Our divorce counseling services are available to spouses without children or in marriages where children are involved and need to be taken into account during the decision-making process.

Easy-to-Access Online Counseling, Courses, and More

We understand the importance of easy-to-access support and information during a difficult and stressful separation journey. That’s why we offer online mobile support, resources, and courses at your fingertips.

Professional advice is there to not only provide an objective viewpoint backed by experts but also offers help in understanding the legal and emotional repercussions of certain decisions. Professional advice is there to help improve your relationship and, if you’ve made the decision to separate, to know what to do next.

If you’ve hit a stalemate in what you and your partner can suggest for improvement, professional advice brings something different to the table. It collates the experience and expertise of a professional to present you with your best potential options. It’s also there to protect you from emotional damage and limit conflict.

It is absolutely possible, but not easy, to have a happy divorce. While painful and incredibly challenging, the divorce presents an opportunity to reconfigure your family in a way that has the potential for greater happiness for you, your children, and your ex. In order to achieve that goal, you must address the three primary relationships in your life to get you to that better place: with yourself, your ex, and your children.

All of our sessions, courses, and support are provided directly by our founder, Dr. Erica Ellis, who is a licensed child psychologist and co-parenting expert.
