Bathroom: Often the most neglected room. Humidity-tolerant plants like ferns, orchids, and pothos thrive here. Natural stone or wood accents, warm lighting, and a small plant on the vanity can turn a utilitarian space into something that actually feels like a retreat.

The point isn't to turn your home into a greenhouse or spend a fortune on reclaimed materials. It's to recognize that the environment you live in is actively shaping your mental and physical health—and that small, intentional moves toward the natural world inside your walls are genuinely worth making.
